Hoje e nas próximas publicações irei partilhar convosco as minhas mini férias, que fiz com as minhas tias, aqui em Portugal. Fiquei a pensar que ainda há muita coisa a fazer, mas que com força de vontade de nós mesmos, muita mudança é possível fazer e que nada é impossível. Fiquem por aí que partilharei convosco todos os pormenores... os bons e os menos bons ;)
Irei falar-vos como é possível ou não, viajar fazendo o mínimo lixo possível e como correu nos restaurantes, agora que estou em transição para o vegetarianismo.
Desde que mudei comportamentos, ao nível da alimentação e desperdício zero é a primeira experiência que tive, fora de casa e por tantos dias.
Foi no inicio do mês passado que fui passear com as minhas tias. Ficamos dois dias em Fátima e dois dias em Évora.
Levei o meu kit habitual comigo. Copo reutilizável, garrafa de água com filtro de carvão (Eau Good vidro), talheres e ainda levei as minhas marmitas Eco Brotbox para a viagem com frutos secos e bolachas de aveia (receita da @dicasdaoksi) para evitar ao máximo comprar snacks embalados durante a viagem sempre que apertava a fome. A minha mochila fazia tanto barulho que as minhas tias brincavam comigo, dizendo que trazia os tachos atrás, mas eu não me importava nada com isso, porque o importante foi a minha consciência que estava leve, leve :)
Paramos numa estação de serviço habitual, para esticar as pernas, ir ao wc e para o condutor tomar um cafezinho e comer algo pois já apertava o estômago. Pedi um sumo de laranja natural e percebi que era servidos em copo de plástico com tampa de plástico :( , questionei se não havia copos de vidro, ao qual me disseram que não. Então pedi que me fosse servido no meu copo reutilizável. Só depois de pago e servido, me apercebi que em vez de me tirarem, um sumo, espremido na hora, me colocaram o sumo que já se encontrava num dos copos que já estava à espera de serem vendido! porque o meu copo era maior do que a medida que vendiam! WTF??? ... ainda há muito a fazer neste campo, por favor, se pararem nas nossas estações de serviço das nossas auto estradas, peçam para serem servidos nos vossos copos reutilizáveis, só assim conseguiremos mudar mentalidades em todo o lado.

Today and in the next publications I will share with you my mini vacations, which I did with my aunts, here in Portugal. I was left to think that there is still much to do, but that with self-will, much change is possible and nothing is impossible. I'll share with you all the details ... the good ones and the less good ones ;)

Since I changed behavior, food and zero waste is the first experience I've had, away from home and for so many days.
It as at the beginning of last month that I went for a walk with my aunts. We stayed two days in Fátima and two days in Évora.
I took usual kit with me. Reusable glass, carbonated water bottle (Eau Good glass), cutlery and even I took my Eco Brotbox kettles for the trip with nuts and oatmeal cookies (@dicasdaoksi recipe) to avoid to the maximum buying packaged snacks during the trip whenever I was hungry. My backpack made so much noise that my aunts played with me, saying that I brought the pots back, but I didn't care about it, because the important thing was my conscience that was light, light :)
We stopped at a regular service station, but stretched out our legs, went to the toilet and the driver had a cup of coffee and had something to eat because it was already tight in the stomach. I ordered a natural orange juice and realized it was served in a plastic cup with a plastic lid :( I asked if there were no cup of glass, which I was told not to, so I asked to be served in my reusable glass. When I paid and the juice was served, I realized, that instead of being taken out, a juice, freshly squeezed, put the juice that was already in one of the plastic cup that was waiting to be sold, because my reusable cup was bigger than the others ... WTF???? ... there is still a lot to do in this field, but please, if you stop at our service stations on our highways, ask to be served in your reusable cups, only then will we be able to change mentalities around the side.
