Experimentem e posteriormente partilhem comigo o vosso feedback.

Hello everyone!

Today I come to speak to you of my care for the face.

I've tried everything. At the beginning everything works, but over time the face of my face rejects everything (some I even shared here on the blog).

Currently, and it's been a few months since I've made myself once more in this experience that I've enjoyed the results.

It was late, I discovered that the skin on my face was mixed. I only started to use creams on my face, I was already in college and because one day I woke up with some spots, and of course scared I went to the pharmacy and they told me that my skin was dehydrated. I have always found that the skin on my face was dry and so my creams and serums were always for dry skin.

When I started to see that the T zone appeared quite oily, I realized then that my skin was mixed.

With Zero Waste, there was the desire to make my face cream at home, thus eliminating the chemicals that exist in products sold in stores.

It was on the Blue Ollis blog that I discovered how to make my DIY Facial Oil and I'm super pleased with the result. Blue Ollis lives a Zero Waste, Minimalist, Vegan lifestyle, so everything I defend and intend to achieve. It explains perfectly and for each type of facial skin that essential oils use, the amount, the basis for each of them. And it was from his tips that I made my Daily Oil to the face. I made my choose among so many tips from Blue.

Mixture of Essential Oils:

- Base - More or less 1/3 of oil (via the bottle to be put) essential of organic grains
- Nutritious oil - More or less 1/3 of oil (by bottle to put) essential of rosehip
- Essential oil - 5 to 15 drops of oil Bergamot
I put this mixture in a jar with a dropper.

My daily and morning care *:
- Exfoliate the face with a luffa disc
- Wash the face with cleaning gel **
- Put a drop of the essential oil mixture in the palm of the hand, rub both hands and apply on the face, primarily on the apples and what remains in the T zone.

* I only do this process in the morning, so my face is not necessary to make for the night.
** This cleaning gel is 100% natural, 70% organic, and 50% of the packaging is recycled and recyclable material

When the oils run out, I can experiment with others that Blue suggests on the blog, but only if my skin stops responding to these ones.

Another curious tip that comes from this mixture of essential oils, my face gets tanned without needing to use makeup for day to day, only if I want to paint the eyes, or the lips.

Try it and then share your feedback with me.

Hello everyone!

For some time I didn't share with you my experiences here on blog. My professional life has been incompatible with my frequency here, unfortunately.

I got a professional window and I use it to come and leave my testimony.

Today I come to speak to you of a small discovery.

I have had bronchitis problems since I was a child, but for the last 20 years I didn't have a crisis like I had before.

Anyone who suffers from the same illness as me, and who comes to soak the bronchial tubes, knows what I'm going to say, but who is not used to it, and suddenly has had these crises, or even those who have children who have allergies. And I do not intend to buy medication, at least until justified, this solution has been advised by a doctor and it works for me, and it helps me to expectorate without excessive force, and without hurting me.

Mothers and fathers, advice, after your children learn to expectorate, believe that it is more suffering for you than for them. My parents suffered more than I did, but once you learn how to do it, it was just an easy technique, but it is understood that others think that we are choking.

When I was a kid, there wasn't much information about the medicinal properties, so I just sprayed it (a simple pot on the fire, with boiling water, a towel on the head to cover the forehead, and inhale the water vapor, both from the mouth and from the nose when it was not clogged).

Nowadays, and good years have gone by, fortunately, doctors advise that nebulizations be done along with eucalyptus leaves.

It's from it that I am speaking to you today.

Helps to relieve the lungs and prevent the bronchitis attacks from becoming worse, more suffering for those who have them and for those who suffer in the third person, for the symptoms of sinusitis, but also in the cleansing of the skin that when nebulizing our face benefits.

If you don't have bronchitis, but would like to clean your face, try it, this is a great solution, environmentally friendly, without chemicals.

Results with me, the skin becomes soft and clean of impurities.

You can buy the eucalyptus leaves, however, ideally, since unfortunately we have the country (Portugal) infested with eucalyptus in our forests, why not organize a walk between friends or family and bring some leaves home?

P.S. - The eucalyptus leaves are also great for the conservation and storage of the potatoes, thus avoiding the approach of unwanted insects

...

Hello everyone!

Ever since I started this lifestyle I was looking for a substitute for a product for my intimate hygiene.

What I used until recently, had been prescribed by my gynecologist, proper to some dryness that had been, fruit of bad choices of other products that I used in the past. This product bought it from the pharmacy, and it came in a plastic bag. I always thought it would be very difficult to find an ecological and biological alternative.

In one of the Urban Market events held at Praça das Cardosas I met the products of Amaciar-te and Maribelle who advised me to use the soap I currently use as a substitute for the commercial product I used previously. Maribelle is pregnant and according to her this is the only product that was perfect with her now, so I decided to risk and make me once again guilty of myself!

And I tell you that I am very pleased with the result. Replaces my previous product perfectly.

The brand has other products, for both sexes. I also bought another soap for eczema, but I still have no opinion, because I have not used it (thankfully).

The packaging of this soap is cork leaf (see below)

Para mim o melhor after sun

...

Hello everyone!

In May I shared with you my decision to go back a bit in this way of life, so that I do not reach extremes that are not yet possible to achieve.

Today I come to speak to you of a natural product that I started to use this summer, because as you know, I always try to opt for what is natural, besides what is Zero Waste.

However, this product unfortunately does not come in environmentally friendly packaging. Now, if you know of a brand without packaging or glass packaging, please tell me where to get it, but as long as it does not exist, I will continue to use it because between choosing a natural product or using a chemical, you already know by which I will choose.

The product I'm talking about is Shea Butter.

Ideal for use after a day in the sun. Sometimes we neglect the amount of sunscreen, the area in a little hidden, or even the choice of hours for sun exposure. Yes, but I assure you that this product is the best to take care of our skin.

I did not buy it for this purpose, in fact it was recommended by LuaDia Therapies to help heal my tattoo, however, as the days were still not warm when I did, and when I decided to put, I did not feel confident because I had some difficulty in spreading the product, I chose to use in my tattoo the product I told you a few weeks ago.

O dia em que o mundo mudou

Olá a todos!

O "mundo" a que me refiro no título, é o mundo português.

...

Hello everyone!

The "world" I refer to in the title is the Portuguese world.

Yes, in Portugal was still sold toilet paper wrapped in plastic, something that has no logic whatsoever, for those who think a little in environmental terms. It only has logic in the resistance of the transport, but as it is seen (I will speak today about it), everything is possible, it takes only will.

Zero Waster's in Portugal have long wondered why toilet paper came wrapped in plastic, and it was time for a Portuguese brand of toilet paper to Renova to take the initiative and throw their toilet paper wrapped in paper.

Not yet for sale in Portugal, but it is already possible to buy online, and that is what I did. My decision was the recycled paper, all that I had experienced so far, none of which pleased me. I ended up buying in quantity, and with thicker rolls that lasted longer, in order to diminish my footprint, which I knew was not ideal. On the site there is a promotion, so I took advantage and ordered two quantities of rolls, so I avoided any extra shipping costs. Renova has 3 options in addition to white recycled paper, all wrapped in paper (ultra fort, balance, hyper soft). There is no excuse for not buying without plastic.

As for my personal opinion, here it goes!

I loved the fact that Renova was concerned about the details, and used tape on paper to use in the boxes. Each carton has 5 packages, each package brings 4. I love the resistance of the wrapping paper (packaging paper).

The Renova roll is the bottom, little difference from the one I used earlier. As for the touch, as most of you must know is more rough, but as for the personal experience, I didn't notice any difference of the recycled roll, relative to the paper that I was using, I don't feel any difference.
However, I was contacted on my instagram by Nídia, from the profile @ni.mo.no account who shared with me a phenomenal tip. She recommends using the inner face of Renova's recycled toilet paper, because it's always cuter. I've tried it and it's true!

There are still many things that can be done, yes, there is, but Renova is to be congratulated, and no one takes it, from them! :)

Wishes for the future: That renews it can abolish the plastic of all its products; That it's possible to them sell packages with larger quantities; Let it sell compact rolls, also wrapped in paper; And that all brands in Portugal, follow the example of Renova.

...

Hello everyone!

As you know with this lifestyle, so has my concern with everything that is chemical. And so, my current struggle has been to find substitutes for commercial products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, cleaning, for biological products.

Today I come to speak to you of my substitute to heal wounds, which I had long sought. I am speaking of the regenerating and healing balm of Miristica.

This balm is suitable as I have mentioned above, to heal new wounds, still without crusts, rashes and tattoos.

I bought it in June at the Eco Porto event, and my first experience with it, was to heal my recent tattoo, which some of you already know. Love it! and I recommend it to anyone who recently made one, and does not know what to use. It's vegan, and with these hot days, the consistency is right, not needing to put in the fridge to stay consistent or withdraw to get more softened.

But the great revelation and that from there, always walks in my bag for how much is the side that goes, was when a month ago, I was cleaning my razor blade (with no glasses, that I see nothing) and I cut myself on a finger. My blood is very liquid and therefor, it takes a little to stagnation. After thoroughly rinsing the cut with running water, and drying it gently, I put the balm in the cut and it was not my astonishment when I felt that a kind of protective layer formed, which caused the blood to begin to stagnate. Oh, and I assure you that I have no scar. When I remember I look at the finger and I can not find the supposed scar.

Miraculous isn't it? plus it's natural, vegan and best of all, in glass jar!

I bought the smaller bottle, but it exists in other sizes!

...

Hello everyone!

Today I come to tell you about my choice of sunscreen.

Ever since I started this lifestyle, I thought, "When I finish the sunscreen, where will I get one without packaging, or packaging environmentally friendly?"

I think that those who are already in these wanderings realize that it is inevitable to also worry about their own health and choose products that do not have chemicals.

I already knew the LuaDia Therapies of the instagram, and I had already tried a moisturizing bar for the body, which I use whenever I shave myself (I love it, my legs are soft), so when the sunscreen came on, my decision was immediately and questiones, whether I had adequate protection for my skin type.

After clarification, I bought the bottle of 100ml and I tell you, I love it, and I recommend it to you.

Although the protection is SPF 25, I usually use it on my face, body and tattoo (whenever I leave the house where it is exposed), and when I go to the beach. On the two days I've been on the beach so far, I assure you I had no scald (I often had scalds the first few days of the beach, every year) and still leaves me with a tan color.

You have to try!

Besides biological, it's Vegan!

...

Hello everyone!

The first stay was at Hotel Fatima, and I tell you there is still a lot to do in hotels.

For years, I thought small details and care for the environment, but also with the very internal management of a hotel. Since anyone who cares about the environment, also cares about the "pocket" itself, profits, losses of a business. As everyone knows, a business, or business, has fixed costs, especially those who have an open house or an office and therefore, water, electricity and gas are usually the most common fixed costs. And there it is, today, not everyone cares about the profits and losses of a company. In this hotel there is still the concern that exists in the majority of the hotels of this country in which the towels are only replaced when the guests place them on the ground. They change towels every day ... My intention is to send an email to the hotel in question, and propose that they do so, for the sake of the environment, but also for their business.

The cups available in the toilet are still wrapped in plastic. I only used it because I currently have to use a gutter for the teeth and the elixir of the georganics is a good aid in cleaning, but since I left the green liquid overnight, I was not replaced. Less a waste.

On the second day, among other places, we went to São Martinho do Porto to visit, because I still didn't know, but also to have lunch.

The location chosen was customary for my uncles, but for my astonishment and pleasure they had vegetarian dishes. I chose vegetarian beans. And I tell you, a delight, and I can tell you that every day was the most complete dishes I ate. I took advantage of the fact that my aunts wanted cold salad, to eat raw vegetables, besides the ones cooked on my plate.

Um pequeno passeio em família - Parte II

Olá a todos!

A viagem continua...

...

Hello everyone!

The trip continues ...

The first stop was in Tomar. Lunch was in an Italian restaurant so it was easy to decide the dish to eat. It was not a complete dish for a vegetarian, but it was what I had and how greedy I was, I defended myself with dessert.

One thing that pleased me immensely was the fact that the water that was ordered came in a glass bottle and not plastic. Incidentally during these mini vacations, only one place served us water in plastic bottle. What I notice is that the central and southern part of the country, restaurants almost always provide bottled water, glass. Up in the north, the same kind of restaurants almost always opt for plastic bottles. And I wonder, why does this happen? Do you feel it too? What's your opinion? Napkins are almost always paper napkins.

Arriving in Fatima, the first day of dinner was also nothing like it should be, however the restaurant had vegetarian platter. There is still much lack of information, as I see it in this area. Restaurants still do not realize what they mean by vegetarian and find that vegetables and carbohydrates make a vegetarian dish. It does, but very incomplete. Here is the main course and dessert of the first dinner in Fatima.
